DICK HOUSDEN Passed away peacefully on the 10th December at 95, five days before his 96th birthday. One of the best. A kind loving husband to the late Beattie, dad to David and the late Roslyn, grandad to Louise, Sara, Petra and Sieglinde, soon to be great grandad to 3, brother to Ann, loving uncle and a beloved friend to many, especially Margaret. Dick grew up in Chain Bridge and Benwick before serving in the Royal Navy in WWII, escorting the Arctic convoys to Russia. Decorated with many medals, Dick was a hero for both the country and for his family. He will be missed by his family and so many others, from friends to Royal Navy Association shipmates. A restricted funeral service will be held at March Crematorium on 29th December with a web stream available. Family flowers only and donations can be made to MSA Trust.
