Manea has held a Remembrance Sunday service to help commemorate those who lost their lives in the line of duty.
At 3pm on Remembrance Sunday, groups from all across the town and surrounding area gathered at the Saint Nicholas Church to lay wreaths and pay their respects.
Many local groups attended the Remembrance service including children’s groups the 1st Manea Girl Guiding made up of the Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, and Rangers and the 1st Doddington Scout group comprised off the Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts.
Members of the Manea branch of the Royal British Legion made appearances too with the Standard Bearer and club chairman attending the service alongside the Manea Parish Council and Manea Gala staff.
Each of the groups held standards and laid wreaths onto the memorial in the freshly cleared church yard which was cleared up by a team of volunteers in the community ready for the service.
