Bridget McIntyre MBE DL leads an impressive list of guest speakers at the Best Employers Eastern Region 2023 launch conference – to be held at Newmarket Racecourse on Tuesday, March 28.
The founder of training company Alitus, social enterprise Dream On and The Blossom Charity will discuss the importance of adopting an environmental, social and governance (ESG) approach to leadership and the impact on workplaces.
She will also give her observations on leadership and employee engagement within public and privately owned organisations.
“Understanding how your employees are feeling and thinking about your company is essential,” said Ms McIntyre, who is also chair of Notcutts and a former non-executive director at Adnams and The Jarrold Group.
“The Best Employers survey not only gives you that information but the chance to see how you are compared to the best in the region.”
Other speakers at the launch event include Darren Williams and Alex Triplow, who will explain how Best Employers has shaped the culture and people strategy of the Holkham Estate in Norfolk.
Sarah Atkins and Matthew Jones will discuss the difference it has made to the East Anglian Air Ambulance, while George Sik of Best Employers co-founder eras will show businesses how to “bring the survey to life”.
“We’re really pleased with the breadth and experience of the speakers that are joining us at our 2023 launch conference,” said Lynn Walters, executive director of Best Employers co-founder Pure.
“Our goal with Best Employers is to develop forward-thinking and inclusive workplaces across the Eastern region – workplaces where people can flourish and thrive.”
Ms Walters will lead roundtable discussions at the event alongside Sonya O’Reilly of Best Employers partner Birketts, while Catherine Hodds of Birketts will host a panel discussion with the guest speakers.
