NatWest is to close its branch in March this summer.
The branch, which is located at 18 Broad Street, is to shut on July 25 according to a letter sent to customers.
The letter states: "Closing a branch is a difficult decision and not one that we take lightly.
"We understand that this branch closure may be challenging for many, and we're working hard to help prepare our customers, and our colleagues, for the closure."
In a leaflet to customers, NatWest found that in January 2019 and the same month last year, there was a 66 per cent decrease in counter transactions by personal customers at the March branch.
The bank found that in 2021, just two personal banking customers were using the branch on a regular basis.
It also stated that two years ago, 60pc of personal banking customers using the branch also used online banking or NatWest's mobile app.

Personal customers are those who use a NatWest branch at least once a week during a six-month period.
In the leaflet, NatWest said: With the ease of mobile and online banking, fewer people are coming into the bank.
"This means we’ve had to make some tough choices about which can stay open."
The closest branches for affected customers are in Wisbech Market Place, Market Street in Ely and Cathedral Square in Peterborough.

In January, NatWest confirmed it would shut another 23 branches in England and Wales in the first half of this year.
This came three months after the bank announced it was to make 43 branch closures across the country.
The bank said the move was due to a shift in more customers using both online and mobile banking.
It comes just a week after QD Stores announced that it was closing its store in the town.
