A Doddington woman who recruited 10 family members for a memorial hike has raised more than £10,000 for charity.
Catherine Rickwood decided to take part in The Big Hike Peak District in aid of Cancer Research UK following the deaths of her husband and mother in law.
The one-day-long distance hiking challenge saw eight of the fundraisers clock up 26.2 miles, and the remaining three 13.1 miles.
Catherine said: "On Tuesday December 6 last year, Adrian, my loving husband, finally lost his battle with cancer after three years.
"His mum (my much-loved mother in law), June, also lost her battle in July last year.
"Please donate to my Giving Page and help me take big steps to beat cancer."
There is still time to donate via the online fundraising link.
