Fenland garden centre Skylark will be raising money for charity on National Cream Tea Day (Friday July 30).

The onsite café will be offering buy one get one free cream teas and donating £1 per deal to Macmillan Cancer Support.

The one-day-only offer, for which booking is not required, requires guests to arrive anytime between 2pm and 4pm.

Owner, Edward Gowlers, said: “Macmillan Cancer Support is one of many charities we try our best to support here at Skylark.

“So with National Cream Tea Day approaching, we saw it as a great chance to raise even more money for Macmillan.”

It's not the first time that Skylark has supported Macmillan, though.

Thanks to collection tins at their tills, they raise hundreds of pounds every year via customer donations.
