A café in a small Cambridgeshire village is to close exactly three years after it opened.

No29, which welcomed members of the public the day before the second Covid-19 lockdown, is located in Manea High Street.

However, the team behind the independent business have announced that No29 will be shutting on November 4. 

A post on the café's Facebook page reads: "We are very sad to announce that No29 - cafe and holiday let will be closing on November 4.

"We have tried very hard to provide a space for the village to use to meet, eat cake and enjoy.

"Unfortunately we have been unable to attract enough custom to cover the costs.

"Thank you to all those who have supported us over the last three years.

"We are sorry to be saying goodbye. Thank you to all the wonderful staff who have worked with me especially my current team: Amy, Amber, Lauren, Tiree and Jenny.

"And also my husband Chris. who has washed up, renovated and repaired stuff and listened to me over the last years."

No29 is still going ahead with its planned events and will be open Wednesday to Saturday from 9am to 4pm until November 4.
