A school in a Fenland village has lost power this morning amid the heavy rainfall of Storm Babet.
Lionel Walden Primary School has lost power, however say that “everyone is safe and enjoying working in the low light”.
A spokesperson added: “There has been an unplanned fault at the local substation that UK Power are addressing.
“We are working on contingencies for lunchtime. “We will update you further regarding the Halloween Disco tonight.

“The school will remain open and is safe and secure.
“We will continue to update you as we know more.”
Several residents of Doddington also say they have lost power and that their front drives are also flooded.
