A Cambridgeshire care home's eldest resident will celebrate her 107th birthday tomorrow (Wednesday October 25).
Gladys Kightly, who lives at Askham House in Doddington, was born just outside Chatteris.
She married her husband Stanley at Doddington Church and had two children, Sue and Janet.
Ahead of her big day, she was visited by MP Steve Barclay. He said: "It was a real pleasure to visit Gladys to wish her well for her birthday and chat to her daughter, Sue, and to meet the fantastic team at Askham House."
The team at Askham House added: "Gladys is our eldest resident and we can't say how proud we feel to have been chosen by her and her daughter to reside in our home.
"Ahead of Gladys' birthday tomorrow, we are very happy for her to have received the visit from Steve Barclay, the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care.
"We wish them all the best in the world and we can't wait for the celebration tomorrow.
"We would also like to thank Steve Barclay for coming to meet Gladys and Sue, as well as our amazing team."
