Manufacturing firms in Fenland can sign up for a free event to access expert advice on grants and how to achieve net zero.
The Smart Manufacturing Alliance roadshow explains why digitilisation is key to the pathway to net zero.
It will also include information on imminent grants available to businesses to support them to survive and thrive. And includes a complimentary lunch.
The event is being run by The Smart Manufacturing Alliance, a dedicated sector network for manufacturers across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, and supported by Fenland District Council’s economic development arm Fenland for Business.
The event explores the issues and challenges around digitilisation through thought leadership, practical steps and best practice.
Cllr Ian Benney, Fenland’s portfolio holder for economic growth and skills, said: “This is a valuable event to bring to Fenland for our manufacturing firms to get top level advice and information on some of the most pressing issues affecting the industry in the coming years – namely net zero and digitalisation.”
Bob Hart, programme director at The Smart Manufacturing Alliance, said: “We have partnered with industry experts across our region to bring you a practical, insightful and thought-provoking event.
“With plenty of time for questions and answers along with the opportunity to network, this free event will leave you armed with a toolkit, contacts and practical solutions.”
The event takes place 8.30am to 1.30pm on Thursday, November 30, at The Boathouse Business Centre, 1 Harbour Square, Nene Parade, Wisbech, PE13 3BH.
