A man had to be rescued from his vehicle after it ended up in a ditch in Manea this morning.
Crews from March were called to the collision on Boots Bridge at 9.57am on Tuesday November 7.
Firefighters arrived to find a collision involving two vehicles with one in a ditch.
Using specialist equipment, firefighters released a male casualty who was left in the care of ambulance crews.
The crews returned to their station by 12pm.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: "We were called at 9.55am today (November 7) with reports of a collision in Manea Road, Wimblington.
“The collision involved two cars, with one leaving the road and residing in a ditch.
“Officers, paramedics and fire crews all attended the scene.
“Details of injuries are unclear at this stage.”
