A Royal visit is taking place in two Cambridgeshire towns today (Wednesday November 29).
Her Royal Highness Princess Anne will be in Huntingdon to open the new Huntingdon Fire Station and Service Training Centre at 7 Percy Road.
HRH will also be returning to Chatteris for the first time since 2019 to mark the official opening of Stainless Metalcraft's North Cambridgeshire Training Centre building.
During the visit, she will tour of its state-of-the-art facilities, meet the teams behind the centre, and talk to apprentices, students and lecturers.
The centre is run by the Eastern Education Group and was set up to support people of all ages to gain new skills to bolster their career prospects and contribute to the region.
The state-of-the-art centre specialises in providing apprenticeships, professional development and commercial courses in engineering and advanced manufacturing.
It also delivers management, digital technologies, business support and health & social sciences.
NCTC is situated on land owned by Stainless Metalcraft, who were instrumental in the creation of the vision and the actual facility and secured funding from Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority.

HRH Princess Anne last visited Chatteris in 2019 to meet apprentices and unveil a plaque at Stainless Metalcraft.
Landing at Cromwell Community College by helicopter, HRH was greeted by dozens of local schoolchildren from Kingsfield Primary School and Cromwell.
She then met the Metalcraft leadership team and civic dignitaries and spoke to apprentices at the Chatteris-based manufacturing company.
