Students at FACET charity college in March have created their own wonky Christmas tree to welcome visitors to their Christmas car boot and tabletop sale next weekend.
With the town’s wonky market place Christmas tree hitting headlines around the world, the students decided to have their very own lopsided festive fir to capture the seasonal spirit.
The tree will be in pride of place at the college ready for the FACET charity college festive car boot and tabletop sale on Saturday December 9 from 9am to 1pm at its premises in Marwick Road, March, to raise funds for college activities. All welcome.
Jane Turner, assistant general manager at FACET, said: “You wood not believe the quali-tree laughs and fun we have had talking about the wonky tree.
“Students have done a tree-mendous job getting our very own version ready which has been decked from head to mistle-toe in wonderful decorations, ready for the event next weekend.
“As part of the event we will be selling Christmas crafts made by our own students so we welcome everyone to come along, enjoy browsing and treat yourself to some of the wonderful goodies for sale.
“There will also be delicious festive refreshments available!”
It costs just £5 to book a table to sell goodies. Call 01354-655080 for details.
