St Ives is now home to the smallest pub in Cambridgeshire.
The Snug Micro Pub, in Free Church Passage, opened in October 2023 and has quickly become a very popular spot for local residents.
Now one of the highest-rated pubs on Google in the town, it offers six different beers from local and independent craft beer breweries as well as a range of wines and cocktails.
Founder Matt Kelly said: "I have researched all of the other pubs in Cambridgeshire and compared their sizes to ours.
"Looking through all of the details and checking online shows that we are the smallest pub in Cambridgeshire.
The pub has four bookable tables, which can be reserved via www.snugstives.com or guests can turn up like a normal pub.
Mr Kelly added: “We wanted to bring back what a pub visit used to be like.
“Where you spoke to strangers, made new friends and discovered new and interesting drinks.
“Our speakeasy-styled pub is a flashback to when pubs used to be people’s front rooms.
“So far, our customers love this new and exciting twist on going out in the town."
The Snug is open Wednesdays and Thursdays 5pm until 10pm, Fridays and Saturdays midday until 11pm and Sundays midday until 4pm.
