A junction in March is set to temporarily close after a void was discovered beneath the road surface.
The Dartford Road and Broad Street junction in March will be closed from Monday, March 4 to Sunday, March 10 for essential safety works.
Diversions will be in place while the junction is closed.
A spokesperson for Fenland District Council said: "The closure is an unforeseen and unavoidable situation that is necessary to urgently repair the void."
In addition to the closure, the Broad Street regeneration contractor, Octavius, will be carrying out overnight works in Broad Street and Station Road, near the Broad Street junction, between 6pm on Friday, March 1 until 5am on Saturday, March 2.

An Octavius spokesperson said: "Though inconvenient, this void does present a potential safety concern to road users and must be rectified urgently.
"We do apologise for any inconvenience caused whilst we undertake this important work and be assured that we will endeavour to complete the work as quickly as possible.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued understanding and patience."
