Members of staff at a children's home in March will step up and take on 24 miles in 12 hours to raise funds towards a summer holiday.
The five-person Burrownoor team, which also includes family members of staff, are taking part in the Break Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge 2024 on May 11.
So far, they have raised £925 towards their £1,500 target.
Jade Wickes, deputy manager, said: “Each year we try to fundraise to gain some funds for our young people to have experiences of their choosing.
“This year, we are aiming to fund a holiday for the summer - for us all to go away and have a great break together, but we need to fundraise to do this.
“So the five of us are all going to be working hard on our training and getting to 'peak' fitness for this challenge."
Sarah Bunn, fundraising manager at Break, said: “We are absolutely thrilled that one of our homes staff are taking on this challenge with us.
“It will not be easy, but we all know the huge difference their support will mean to the young people at Burrowmoor - giving them a much needed break away together and building some amazing memories.
“Sponsor them today please and help get them over the peak of their target!”
