Former England manager and football legend, Roy Hodgson CBE, paid a visit to Ely over Easter.
Roy, who managed England between 2012-2016, paid visits to both Oliver Cromwell's House and Ely cathedral with his wife, Sheila, over the Easter weekend.
Anna Bennett, the Tourism and Town Centre Manager for Ely, said: "We were so pleased to welcome Roy Hodgson CBE to Ely over the weekend.
"He enjoyed a tour of Oliver Cromwell’s House and Ely Cathedral. Roy and his wife spent the Easter weekend in Cambridge and came over for the day.
"Roy is a legendary football manager and former player, who most recently managed Premier League club Crystal Palace.
"He has managed 22 different teams in eight countries, so quite a career behind him."
Oliver Cromwell's House, Ely Cathedral, and the Tourist Information Centre welcome visitors to the city from all over the world and are open seven days a week.
