TikTok star and Cambridgeshire baker, George Hepher, has officially released his debut book, Rebel Bakes.
George, or better known by his TikTok username, @georges_bakery, has been baking all kinds of goodies in Houghton since 2015.
He began selling his sweet treats at the St Ives Farmers Markets in March of 2015 and was a very welcome addition.
Speaking to The Hunts Post, George said that he actually began selling quiches at the start of his career, as that was the only way he was allowed onto the market.
From there, George's career took off and he gained a lot of attention on social media.
"Over time, word of mouth began to spread and social media had people travelling all over the country to the St Ives and Ely Farmers Markets to behold giant slices of cakes and traybakes."

Like many local businesses, George was hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic. But, he found a way around it and benefitted massively.
"During the Covid-19 lockdowns, I began doing 'bake-alongs' on my social media and my audience grew even more, as did my business.
"I moved into an industrial unit and out of my parent's kitchen, and I started hiring employees.
"It meant that I could start selling my postal boxes as well as continuing to trade at the markets, and since then, everything has snowballed."
George also releases postal boxes full of his goodies on his website.
Now, George celebrates the release of his first book, Rebel Bakes.
"The book came about in summer 2022, which is when I began getting lots of social media views, and now it's being released!
"It contains lots of recipes from bakes we sell at the markets and online, as well as some exclusive recipes. It's crammed full of tips and tricks!"
George's Bakery will be at the Ely Farmers Market on April 13 for a book release special, and will return to St Ives Farmers Market on April 20.
Rebel Bakes is available on Amazon and is in Waterstones.
