Road users are being advised to take care as an abnormal load makes its way through Cambridgeshire today between 9am and 11:30am.
The route will be along: A14 eastbound, Junction 20 at Ellington and the A1 southbound at Junction 1.
Traffic may be slow and may be held whilst manoeuvring the load along certain roads.
According to National Highways, an abnormal load is a vehicle that has any of the following characteristics:

a weight of more than 44,000kg;

an axle load of more than 10,000kg for a single non-driving axle and 11,500kg for a single driving axle;

a width of more than 2.9 metres;
-
a rigid length of more than 18.65 metres.
