Fitness fans haven't got long to wait until a new 24-hour gym opens in the Fenland town of March.

With the exterior sign now up, Snap Fitness is taking over Unit 1 at Meadowlands Retail Park.

A spokesperson said: "Works are underway which will see the space completely transform into a state-of-the-art fitness facility, complete with the latest gym equipment, two group fitness studios and personal training.

"March will be Snap Fitness’ 98th club in the UK and Ireland, adding to there than 1,000 clubs globally.

"Clubs are individually owned and run by passionate people who are all about delivering best-in-class gym experiences."

The gym is scheduled to open in May, but the exact date is to be confirmed.

The gym owner said: “This is my second Snap Fitness club, and I can’t wait to open in March.

"Snap Fitness is a real community gym where members can train in a space where they feel comfortable. For us, it’s all about how people feel.”
