A poignant beacon lighting ceremony took place in March last night (Thursday June 6) to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
Mayor of March, Cllr Gary Christy, lit the beacon and there was also music from March Brass 2000.
There was also a parade with serving, veterans and cadets, as well as an Act of Remembrance.
The service ended with everyone singing the National Anthem.
There were also food stalls, a bar, World War Two vehicles and displays on the night.
