Eligible children in Cambridgeshire will be able to attend activity sessions in the Summer Holidays free of charge.
This initiative is part of Cambridgeshire County Council's Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme.
The scheme aims to keep primary and secondary school children active in half term and provide them with a healthy meal at no extra cost to their family.
Any child receiving benefit-related free school meals is eligible for the programme, which is set to run between July 23 and August 30.
Approximately 19,000 HAF eligibility vouchers were sent to families on June 10, with each voucher offering 64 hours of access to a HAF scheme in the Summer Holidays.
