FACET education centre for adults with a range of learning disabilities has welcomed guests from the Buffalo Chapter March from the Locomotive Lodge to say a big thanks for their support.
The event was a chance to say a big thank you for their fundraising efforts to support the March-based charity with a selection of sensory tools a new projector and a CS system.
Kris Harrold, FACET registered manager, said: “The support that we’ve been given has been fantastic.
“All of the things the Lodge has provided us with will be so regularly used and appreciated by all the FACET students and staff alike.
“They’re an amazingly generous group and I want to say a huge thank you on behalf of us all.”
The Buffalos chooses a local charity to support each year and this year FACET was chosen as one of the students is also a member of Locomotive Lodge.
John Carter, who has been a FACET student for several years, took the idea of the partnership to the Buffalo’s and suggested what he felt would most benefit his fellow students.
Both groups are so grateful that John was able to coordinate such a fantastic outcome.
