Firefighters from St Neots were among the crews called to a roof fire which was caused by a lightning strike last week.
Twenty firefighters from across Cambridgeshire were called to the incident which affected the roof spaces of two houses.
There were no injuries reported.
It took around three hours to contain and extinguish the blaze, which happened on the afternoon of June 14 in Hudson Road, Cambourne.
The other crews that attended were from Cambourne, Gamlingay and Cambridge.
A turntable ladder was also sent to the incident.
