An independent holiday park operator is shortlisted for three business awards.
The Pure Leisure Group, responsible for the Tydd St Giles Golf and Country Club among others, has clinched nominations for the prestigious Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs).
Categories include best family business, medium sized business, and best leisure and tourism.
Pure Leisure Group was founded by John Morphet in 2004, and has steadily grown into an award-winning enterprise.
The company now spans across the UK and into the Caribbean.
It claims more than 4000 caravan and lodge bases, 154 touring pitches, and several themed parks suited to adventurers, anglers, sports fans, and families.
The nomination solidifies an already remarkable year for Pure Leisure Group, having won the Tourism, Leisure and Hospitality Award at Lancashire’s Red Rose Awards 2024.
The winners are slated to be announced during the annual BIBA Awards Ceremony set to take place on September 20 at the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
The nomination process involved rigorous rounds of judging, which included a visit to the site locations.

Owner of Pure Leisure Group, Mr Morphet, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for not one, but three BIBAs – an accolade which is incredibly well-respected and which really shines a light on businesses and individuals.

Mr Morphet went on to stress the significance of the nominations to his team and customers, saying: “The impact of a BIBA shortlist announcement alone means something to each of our employees across all of our UK Parks and across the pond to the Caribbean and gives them an added sense of pride for the company they work for.
