A care home has retained its five-star rating for food hygiene and safety.
Askham Village Community, a care home and rehab centre located in Doddington, has maintained the ranking from the Environmental Health Officer (EHO).
The EHO conducts an exhaustive review as per the Food Law Code of Practice and Food Law Practice Guidance.
This recent evaluation included an inspection of the centre's procedures, food safety paperwork, and cleanliness standards.

The process also encompassed conversations with staff members to ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
Mavrick Leveille, the associate director of Askham Village Community, echoed the pride and satisfaction of the team: “Maintaining a 5-star EHO rating is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our entire team.
"It reflects our continuous effort to provide a safe and healthy environment for everyone at Askham.
