A cardboard cow mysteriously appeared in the long grass at a field in an East Cambridgeshire village.
Residents of Mepal are unhappy that some public spaces in the village have been left uncut since May.
They say the parish council has not responded to emails and now a cow has taken up residence on one of the areas.
"Even the children's play area has only had, what the council calls 'fairy paths' cut through the now seeding long grass," said one resident.
We have approached Mepal Parish Council for comment.
