A national high street chain is to close its store in a Fenland town.
Clarks the shoe shop in Broad Street, March is reportedly shutting in September, with the exact date to be confirmed.
A closing down sale sign is currently on display in the window.
One of the members of staff who works there said on Facebook: “We are all devastated with the news.
“But with wage increases and declining foot fall there is not much we can do.”
A spokesperson for Clarks said: “Clarks confirms its store in March will be closing on September 4.
"We’d like to thank our loyal customers who have shopped with us at this store.
"We’ll be delighted to continue to serve them with our full range of products online and at our nearby Clarks stores in Peterborough and Kings Lynn."
