A 100k cycle fundraiser aimed at supporting long-term physical and mental healthcare in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is taking place.
The event, run by charity Head to Toe, associated with the local NHS Trust (CPFT), is scheduled this Sunday, August 11 and will commence and conclude in Cambridge.
Cyclists will be guided through a scenic circular route of the picturesque fenland and tranquil country lanes of rural Cambridgeshire.
Both a 100k cycle and a 50k option are available for participants; the paths are easily navigable, flat, and peaceful.

Terrace lunch stops, a support van, route-relevant guidance from expert cycling ride leaders, and a celebratory drink on completion are included.
The charity endeavour is open to road, hybrid, gravel and mountain bikers.
As per Head to Toe, the raised funds will assist individuals with mental health and long-term physical health issues.
Interested cyclists can register via the 'Red Fox Cycling' website.
This one-day challenge promises a unique opportunity to make a marked difference in the community whilst indulging in the pleasure of a ride through the 'Fens'.
