A woman in her 80s was targeted with a pen knife while out on her mobility scooter in March.
Yesterday (August 5), the woman was approached by a man on a bike while out at West End, March, at around 4:45pm.
The man produced a pen knife and attempted to grab her handbag. He then made off on his bike empty handed.
Cambridgeshire Police have confirmed that the victim did not sustain any injuries and a crime has been raised for attempted robbery.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Anyone with information about the incident, or saw anything, should contact us via our website using reference 35/57270/24. Anyone without internet access should call 101."
