A renowned annual village show celebrated its 77th year with diverse attractions and sizable turnout.

The event, hosted by the Doddington Horticultural Society, took place on Benwick Road's recreation field on August 27.

Sponsorship from Agrimech contributed to the festivities that featured a full marquee of entries such as art, photography, baking, and produce exhibits.

Sheer talent was showcased through commendable performances from Future Stars, RKA Kickboxing Academy, and 20twentyproductions in the arena.

Other highlights included stalls of merchandise, outdoor activities like Archery and a dog show by Cambridge Dog Co.

Alongside refreshments served by the WI, food trucks and even a scout-provided BBQ catered to the crowds.

Notably, the Goakes family drew attention with a steam engine exhibit.

The festive day rounded off with a silent disco, bringing an exceptional experience for many attendees.

Victors of the day were Chris Savill and Charlie Winn, acclaimed for accumulating the highest points in the adult and child categories, respectively.
