A Peterborough restaurant is launching a unique Japanese roast dinner - thought to be the only one of its kind available in the UK.
Katana's innovative offering reimagines the traditional Sunday roast - which is available from 12-4pm - with the flavours of Japanese cuisine.
Saran Raj, director at Katana Peterborough, said: “We are thrilled to introduce the Japanese Roast to our diverse menu.
“This new offering is a testament to our commitment to culinary innovation and providing our guests with unique and unforgettable dining experiences.

What does the Japanese Roast experience look like?
Starters and limitless sushi
Sweet and sour fried chicken gyoza, to spicy tuna maki.
Japanese-inspired British Roast
Seasoned beef rump with sansho pepper sauce, chicken breast flavoured with ginger mirin and teriyaki sauce, and sea bass fillet with miso soya and creamy garlic sauce. Vegetarian options like miso garlic cauliflower and roasted tofu are also be available.
Accompaniments and Desserts
Togarashi potatoes, maple miso carrots, and green beans with yuzu vinaigrette. To finish, there's mango cheesecake, mochi, and a variety of ice creams.
Bookings will be taken from August 11 and bottomless drinks and sushi options are also available.
