A digger caught fire in a Fenland village yesterday afternoon.
Crews from Chatteris and March were called to the blaze on Westfield Road in Manea at 1.30pm on Monday August 12.
Firefighters arrived to find a digger on fire spreading to grass.
The crews used a hose reel and beaters to extinguish the fire and returned to their stations by 3pm.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
