A manhunt was launched to find Matysiuk, but he evaded arrest until January 2022. On July 31, he was sentenced to two years and ten months in jail for possession of Class A and B drugs, possession of an imitation firearm, and supplying a Class B drug.

Inside, they found 35 bags of cocaine worth £1,400 and arrested Hoxha. In custody, it emerged that he had given officers a fake name and had no driving licence.
