The works are set to be completed towards the end of the year, according to the listing on Rightmove.

Hudson Homes, the Peterborough-based agent looking after the listing, added it has a letter of intent from an existing client interested in leasing the building for five years on £360,000 per annum.

The development is described as “fully renovated with modern furnishings” in the listing and the first apartments will be complete in the coming weeks.
A Luton-based developer was granted planning permission early last year to convert the building into apartments.
The former post office closed over a decade ago but the building itself dates back to the 19th century.
According to Historic England, it was constructed in 1887 in “French, Mediaeval Domestic Style”.
