Sweet treats will be on sale for a good cause in a Fenland village tomorrow.
Get down to Wimblington Parish Hall on Saturday September 28 to taste some tasty bakes all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The coffee morning takes place from 10am to 12pm.
As well as tea, coffee and cakes, there will be a plant and bric a brac sale.
The main prize of the mega raffle is a family ticket for Skylark Garden Centre, two March Quality Meats vouchers, a Tesco voucher and many other prizes.
There will also be bric a brac and plants for sale on the morning.
Wimblington Parish Council is supporting by helping and allowing the organisers to use the hall free of charge.
“In amongst the dull and gloomy weather we’ve been having, this will be a day of sunshine to help those in need,” said organisers Christine and Peter James.
“We have been blown away by all the donations for the raffle that we have received from local people.”
They added that, over the last four years, “we have raised more than £3,000 and hope to keep making tremendous strides in support of this charity”.
