Stargazers across Cambridgeshire were treated last night to a stunning display of the Northern Lights.
Cameras across the county captured the phenomenon, which is also known as an aurora borealis, as it took to the skies yesterday (October 11).
The Northern Lights were visible right across the region, with plenty of people capturing them from their own back garden.
Both the Met Office and AuroraWatch UK predicted that the Northern Lights would be visible across the sky last night.
In 2024 alone, the UK has seen more of the Northern Lights than in many recent years.
