A school in a Fenland town has been forced to shut today (Friday October 18).
Glebelands Primary School in Farriers Gate, Chatteris, is closed due to a power cut.
A post on the school’s website states: “Due to the unscheduled power cut, we have no power and no anticipated time of return to operation. “Therefore, we are unable to open the school today.
“To enable your children to access learning today, we would suggest the following: Numbots/TTRockstars/Purple Mash (if you have access to power obviously).
“If you do not have access, can we suggest books, creative writing activities and craft activities based around their current learning. “We are so sorry for this.”
