A man from Cambridgeshire who was killed in a crash on the M6 this month has been named by police.
Richard Woods, aged 40, was one of the five people killed in a crash on the M6 Northbound past Tebay, Cumbria, on October 15. Mr Woods was driving a Skoda.
Richard Woods is understood to have worked for BAE Systems and was based at RAF Marham.
Cumbria Police were called to the crash at 4.04pm on October 15 following reports of a Skoda travelling southbound on the northbound carriageway.
The driver of the Skoda, Mr Woods, was pronounced dead at the scene after crashing head on into a Toyota.
Jaroslaw Rossa, 42, and his sons Filip, 15, and Dominic, seven, died when the Toyota that Jaroslaw Rossa was driving was hit.
Another passenger, Jade McEnroe, 33, died at the scene. Her son Arran, seven, was seriously injured in the crash and was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle where he remains.
