This weekend March Athletics Club had runners taking on various challenges across the globe.
Locally, five runners took part in the Sandringham 10k. Mark Godfrey was first back for the club in an outstanding time of 38.13 finishing as 3rd male in the race and winning his age category.
Kai Stoner was second home for the club with a strong performance on a tough course with hills and trails throughout.
Dawn Goodley was first lady for the club. Sasha Bland raced the 5k finishing in 25:34.
Elsewhere, March AC took on the Loch Ness Marathon. Tim Brammer and Andy Cole led the way for the club as Brammer excelled on his marathon debut breaking the three and a half hour mark.
Michael Stacey was third followed by Samantha Hodson who was first lady in just over 4 hours with Tricia Cole next to finish the difficult course.
Sue Ward, Smita Gupta, Emma Reed and Jim Reeves completed the run as a group demonstrating the club's team spirit.
Mark Pegler completed the Dubai Desert Palm 10k XC in tough conditions with a temperature of 34 degrees. He finished the race in 1:06:53.
